Construction Project Manager Commercial

Summary

Manage large commercial project. Main project scheduled to run for 1 year starting June 2020. Several projects in Shasta County queued up in same area following main project. Potential to run multifamily and residential projects as well.

key qualifications

Plan and coordinate all project operation to maintain schedule, cost, and client experience.

Oversee project team, including site supervisor, project coordinator, all subcontractors/vendors.

Consult and collaborate with architect/engineer and specialty consultants throughout project.

Create project schedule and cost metrics, track changes and maintain throughout project.

Responsible for high-level communication and reporting to project team and client.

Looking for a team player with a passion for excellence who brings strong management, logistics and problem solving skills.

Workload to be approx 80% office, 20% site.

Technical Requirements

 

a. Thorough knowledge of construction means and methods, code compliance and safety practices.

b. Ability to maintain Gantt chart schedules, work flows and critical path, UDA construction management software, communicate with others via email, use Microsoft office software, misc other software.

c. Basic drafting/ design ability, fluent in plan reading and construction details.

d. Excellent oral and written personal and technical communication ability.

f. Ability to research and self-educate continually.

Minimum 10 years construction and leadership experience, with a strong knowledge of all aspects of residential and light commercial construction.

Must be proficient in construction management and scheduling/cost tracking software.
